Full Day Farm to Fork Cooking Class
Leave Fez behind for the day and head into the foothills of the Middle Atlas, where this full-day cooking experience offers a slower look at rural life and food traditions among Amazigh communities. Guests are taken by private transfer to an organic goat farm about an hour from the city, where the day unfolds in an outdoor kitchen surrounded by open countryside and apple orchards.
The experience is hands-on and rooted in the ingredients and flavors of the region, with a menu that may include wood-baked Berber bread, goat cheese tagine, charcoal-grilled lamb kefta, fire-roasted zaalouk, garlicky yogurt tahini sauce, and sumac pickled onions. After cooking, guests sit down for a relaxed al fresco lunch, followed by herbal tea from the garden and traditional Moroccan cookies made locally.
This is a good fit for travelers who want to spend time outside Fez, cook in a more natural setting, and experience Moroccan food in a way that feels grounded, generous, and closely tied to place.

Important Notes
We will be walking in an active market area where there are people conducting every day life. Wear good shoes for walking and an open mind about what you will be trying. This tour is specifically designed to take you even further beyond our regular street food tours to find the hidden foods that every day people eat. We keep these groups even smaller, at 6 people and we don’t recommend this tour for kids – it’s best for those 12 and older.
